Welcome to
ROCK THE BOAT, the resource center for gay, lesbian, bi, Trans, or
questioning youth who have just arrived to Toronto or thinking of
immigrating or moving to Canada.
Rock The Boat is the result of a partnership between
TeenNet,
and Soy's
Newcomer/Immigrant Youth Program.
 Supporting
Our Youth (SOY), a Program of Sherbourne Health Centre is an exciting, dynamic community development project
designed to improve the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual and
transgendered youth in Toronto through the active involvement of youth and
adult communities. We work to create healthy arts, culture and recreational
spaces for young people; to provide supportive housing and employment
opportunities; and to increase youth access to adult mentoring and support.
The
goal of the The TeenNet Project is to generate new knowledge and develop practical tools
for engaging youth in health promotion using interactive technology.
