I’ve been told that once you join the SOY family you never really leave. That’s been true for me! I came to SOY as a social work student in 2005 and was later co-facilitating and coordinating Fluid. Working with groups has been my passion for 15 years. Fluid really speaks to my interest in sexual diversity, queer rights and building community. To me it’s about connecting and having an open conversation about our common experiences, and in the process learning more about ourselves and each other. I am also a social worker and a freelance writer.
